Biggest Loser Results – End of Week #2

7 May

Miss Barb, Miss Sue, Miss Janelle and Miss Lindsay

We weren’t all present for today’s weigh-in (Miss Katelyn had jury duty), but the rest of the team donned our new Biggest Loser shirts as inspiration and hit the scale! The winner for the week is Miss Kari, with 2.4% of body weight lost this week. Still holding the overall lead is Miss Lindsay with a 6.3% weight loss total. We are now 36.8# (update: 39.8#) smaller since when the challenge began – that’s like a couple of cocker spaniels! Thanks for your ideas, encouragement and support!

Dog Tired ‘Biggest Loser’ Challenge Begins Today!

23 Apr

Go ahead, step on me if you dare...

This morning all of the staff competing in our Biggest Loser challenge faced The Scale for their initial weigh-ins. We are spending the next ten weeks focusing on a renewed commitment to wellness and a longer life through better health! (And a $1,000 cash prize doesn’t hurt either!) We have received a lot of suggestions and supportive remarks from clients - please, keep ‘em coming! - and really appreciate your good thoughts on our behalf.

Lights, camera, action!

We’re proud that Dog Tired clients were tapped for the two canine actors in this new television PSA – called “Get Real” – to promote responsible pet ownership for spay/neuter. Congratulations to Rusty Webber (the copper Toy Poodle) and Josie Szekeres (the white American Bulldog) – way to represent!

Rusty also appears in the print campaign as the cover model for “Get Real” magazine:
